From the falls we take a 15-minute drive out of the town to the Mpala Village. The Mpala Village is where you get the opportunity to have an insight into a working village in modern-day rural Africa. A leader from the village will engage you and show several points of interest including houses, the school, and their water source which is a borehole. From here you are returned to the hotel for the afternoon. Later in the evening you will be collected again and transferred to the jetty for a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River above the falls, complete with drinks and snacks.
